We look forward to the Boone County Fair in Belvidere, IL every year. It doesn't that we live less than a mile from the fairgrounds. We've attended at least once every year since we moved to the area in 2014. The kids have always enjoyed it, it's cheap, easy fun, and it's full of things to see, and it makes for great photography. These images are from opening day (Tuesday, August 11, 2026) when I attended with my daughters in the early evening.
